The Conservatory of Music offers over 70 majors, including solo instruments, orchestral instruments, chamber music, church music, jazz, composition, music theory, and multimedia composition. Students gain professional artistic abilities in solo, orchestral, and chamber music.

The Academy of Drama employs a dual-track training system, offering majors in opera singing, musical theatre directing, theatre directing, theatre acting, and theatre performance within musicals. The academy produces approximately 40 large and medium-sized theatrical works annually, providing students with abundant stage experience.

The Academy of Education and Science covers majors in Basic Music Education (EMP), instrumental education, music teacher training, music therapy, musicology, and education. This academy combines artistic practice with scientific reflection and offers doctoral research opportunities.

The School of Culture and Media Management (KMM) offers a range of courses from certificates and diplomas, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Master of Arts (M.A.) to doctoral degrees, and is one of the largest institutions of its kind in Europe. Popular majors include instrumental music, drama performance, musicology, and music education. The school also maintains close partnerships with top cultural institutions such as the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and the NDR Radio Orchestra, providing students with valuable practical experience.
